Dr. Janet Kail was born and raised in southern Indiana and attended Indiana University for her undergraduate degree with a B.A. in consumer studies. Following graduation from IU, she pursued a medical career. Returning to undergraduate school for two more years, she completed the pre-medical coursework necessary to attend medical school. She graduated from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland where she earned her DPM degree in 1993. Dr. Kail went on to further her training and completed her surgical residency in Columbus, Ohio.
While in private practice for 8 years in Beavercreek, Ohio, Dr. Kail gained a variety of experiences in podiatric medicine and surgery. After leaving private practice, Dr. Kail served as an attending podiatric physician at the Dayton Veterans Medical Center. She remained at the Veterans Medical Center for two years prior to accepting her position with Grand Lake Podiatry, Incorporated.
